Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of CoHomy.com (the “Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

1) WHO WE ARE
CoHomy.com is operated by Burak Yılmaz (VKN: 9680520454), a Türkiye‑based business.
Registered notice address: Nine Hatun Mah. 146. Sokak No:18/1 Esenler/İstanbul, Türkiye.Support: support@cohomy.com (or via “Support” in your account).

2) ELIGIBILITY
You must be 18 or over to create an account, post a listing, buy packages, or use messaging features.

3) WHAT COHOMY IS (AND ISN’T)
CoHomy provides a platform for users to post listings and message each other. We are not a landlord, tenant, letting agent, broker, or property manager. Any arrangement you make with another user is between you and that user.

4) ACCOUNTS
You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date. You’re responsible for activity on your account. If you believe your account is compromised, contact Support immediately.

5) LISTINGS
Posting and publishing a listing is free. You agree that your listing content will be accurate and lawful, and must not include prohibited content (see section 9). We can remove or restrict listings that breach these Terms or our platform rules.

We also offer business packages that include listing credits for companies, as shown at checkout.


6) MESSAGING CREDITS (SENDING MESSAGES)
To send the first message to a new person, you need message credits (sold via packages).

How it works:
· Message credits limit the number of different people you can message.
· Once you start a conversation with someone, messaging within that conversation can continue without message limits while the Platform remains available.
· A recipient can reply to you without needing their own message credits.

Validity (expiry):
Message credits must be used within the package validity period shown at checkout. Unused credits expire and do not roll over.

7) BOOST
Boost is an optional paid feature that helps keep your listing higher in results for the duration shown at checkout.

Boost starts when it is activated on your account. It ends automatically when the stated duration ends.

8) PRICES, CHECKOUT, AND CHANGES
The Platform may be offered free of charge for a period of time. We may introduce paid features or packages in the future.

Package prices, durations, and limits are shown at checkout. These may change from time to time, but the version shown at checkout applies to the purchase you make at that time.

9) PROHIBITED BEHAVIOUR AND CONTENT
You must not use CoHomy to:
· harass, threaten, abuse, or intimidate others
· post hateful, discriminatory, sexual, violent, or illegal content
· impersonate CoHomy or mislead others
· post contact details to bypass the Platform (where restricted by our rules)
· spam users or post ads/promotions for third parties
· attempt fraud or scams
· scrape or systematically extract Platform content
· ask users questions that facilitate discrimination (for example about protected characteristics)

10) MODERATION, SUSPENSION, AND TERMINATION
We don’t pre‑approve user content before it goes live. We may remove content, restrict features, suspend, or close accounts if we reasonably believe there is a breach of these Terms, our rules, or the law, or if we need to protect users or the Platform.

If your account is suspended or closed due to misuse or a breach, you may lose access to paid features and we may refuse refunds for purchases connected to that breach.

11) REFUNDS AND CANCELLATIONS
Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

Message credits:
If you buy a message package and do not use any message credits, you may request a refund within 14 days of purchase. Once you start using message credits (for example by messaging a new person), the package is considered used and is non‑refundable.

Boost:
Boost is delivered immediately on activation and is non‑refundable once started.

Refund requests must be submitted via Support. We may ask for information to verify your purchase.

12) PAYMENTS, INVOICES, AND RECORDS
Your purchase history, active/expired features, and invoices are available in “Payments & Invoices” in your account.

Invoices are issued by our Türkiye‑based business. (A pro‑forma/confirmation may be shown immediately for information purposes.)

13) SAFETY
You are responsible for your own decisions and safety when interacting with others. We recommend you take sensible precautions (for example meeting in public first and verifying details) before making any commitments.

14) LIABILITY
We provide the Platform “as is” and do not guarantee that listings or user information are accurate, complete, or safe.

We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

15) CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we’ll update the “Last updated” date and may notify you through the Platform. Continuing to use CoHomy after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

16) GOVERNING LAW
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales will have jurisdiction, without affecting any mandatory consumer rights that may apply based on your location.
